Idk for me this scene really puts it into perspective as to why Adrien doesn’t act like Chat on a daily basis. With Marinette we can see her being heroic like LB a lot (esp when it comes to her friends) whereas we almost never see Adrien act silly. He thinks he has to be perfect and ppl would call him out for acting like himself.
That’s why I really like that Chat got to hear what LB said she liked about him, especially being that the #1 thing she likes abt him is his humor.
I would love it if there was another scene where he acts like himself and Marinette tells him she likes his jokes…that being the moment he realizes she’s more than “JUsT a FRiENd”
Omg yes I whole heartedly agree with this! And in “Truth”, he replies to Ladybug saying “so what you’re saying is, you like it when I act like a clown” after this discussion between him and Kagami.
I actually feel like this may be very possible in terms of the Adrienette development!!
Exactly! I know the writers have a history of not addressing important moments of past episodes, but hopefully this season is different. I don’t think the writers would’ve put such an emphasis on his silly side if they weren’t going to address it again.
The only reason I say this is because when LB asks Chat what he thinks of her being the new guardian in Truth he says something like “it doesn’t bother me if nothing changes between us.” Then in Furious Fu it clearly bothers him when he realizes LB would forget about him if she’s no longer the guardian.
